The story so far...

The company was founded over 30 years ago in East London as a small family business specialising in spares for electrical appliances, hence the original name, Specialist Spares Electrical. This business developed and 25 years ago the name was changed to Electric Water Heating Co to reflect our major area of expertise.

Over the intervening years we have encompassed other electric liquid heating applications and become a specialist in unvented water heaters.

Now into a third generation, together with an enthusiastic young staff, we are keen to maintain our reputation as the UK’s leading technical stockists for electric water heating parts and equipment.

With a combined experience of over 100 years we have earned the respect of all the major manufacturers for the depth of knowledge and understanding of their products.

Having outgrown the London premises we moved in 2003 to a more spacious industrial unit in Harlow. This only about half an hour from the old Barking Road premises and is within easy reach of the M11, M25 and North Circular Road. [map]

The added space has enabled the company to embrace both larger stock levels and an ever-increasing range of parts and equipment. With the move the opportunity was taken to upgrade the IT systems so that the vast amount of historical data can be made more accessible, giving our sales team an even greater edge.
